This policy explains what data is collected when you use strikeo.app ("Strikeo", "we"), why it is collected, and the choices you have. Strikeo does not require registration: we do not ask for your name, email address, or any account information to use the site.

1. Data we collect

Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location (country/city level derived from IP), device and browser type, language, and interaction events (for example, which game views are opened). This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you. IP addresses are processed to derive approximate location and are not stored by us.

Technical data and preferences

The site stores small amounts of data in your browser (cookies and local storage) that are strictly functional: your language preference, your light/dark theme choice, and minor interface state (such as scroll position in lists). These stay on your device and are not used to profile you.

2. Cookies and third-party advertising

Strikeo displays advertising served by Google AdSense on pages with content. Regarding advertising cookies:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

You can also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the site will keep working, though some preferences (like theme) will not be remembered.

3. Legal basis

We process analytics and advertising data on the basis of legitimate interest (operating, improving, and funding a free service) and, where required by applicable law, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the opt-out mechanisms above or your browser settings.

4. Data retention

Aggregated analytics data is retained under Firebase Analytics' standard retention settings (up to 14 months) and afterwards only as aggregate statistics. Functional preferences remain in your browser until you delete them. We do not maintain user account databases.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is processed by our service providers — Google (Firebase, AdSense) — under their own privacy terms. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites.

6. Children

Strikeo is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors, and the site's content is not directed at them.

7. Your rights and contact
